In Delhi again a newborn baby had lost his life after his birth because of unavailability of critical care facilities at the Delhi Government Hospital. Careless attitude of hospitals is rising day by day. This is the second case spotted within a week. After seven months of pregnancy the baby was born yesterday morning.  Baby was having some breathing problem so his parents rushed to Sanjay Gandhi  Memorial Hospital (SGMH) and then later taken to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where he was declared “brought dead” by doctors.

It seems that hospitals are those places in Delhi NCR which are too not reliable to get the best cure of your dear ones. “He was operated in casualty department by junior and senior doctors” PS Nayyer SGMH Superintendent said. A senior, child specialist was later attending to him, while there was another emergency case so he had to go and attended the other child, Mr. Nayyer said.  The parents of baby left the hospital without informing any staff at the hospital. Then they both traveled to Baba Ambedkar Hospital, which was 4.5 km far from that place. They traveled in an E-rickshaw and took about one hour to reach there. This was the second case within a week in Delhi as last Thursday a new born girl died due to lack of critical care facilities.
