It has been declared that there are the highest cases of crimes against women in Delhi since 2014, among all the metropolitan cities, with a crime rate of 182.1 per 100,000 women, as per to the latest data released by the National Crime Records Bureau.

National capital has got the dubious distinction for the list in cases of kidnapping, murder, and abduction and other crimes against women in Delhi. Delhi was mentioned to have 33% of total crimes against women, followed by Mumbai with only 12.3% from last year among the 19 cities which has population above two million.

Our capital state has been reported that 40% of rape cases and almost 29% of each case are cruelty by husbands and relatives and dowry deaths, according to NCRB data.

Moreover, it is accounted for 38.8% of total IPC crime reported in 19 different cities across the country, followed by Mumbai at 7. 7% and Bengaluru (8.9%). It was labeled that the highest crime rate against women in Delhi is 182.1 if compared to the national average crime of 77.2.

We have the highest number of kidnapping and rape crimes in Delhi I.e., 5,453 cases (48. 3%) followed by Bengaluru with 879 cases (7. 8%) and Mumbai with 1,876 cases (16.6%) in 2016.

Further the city was reported for highest number of murders— 479 out of 2,194 cases (21.8%)—followed by Bengaluru at 10. 4% (229 cases) and Patna at 8.9% (195 cases). The flooding number of cases is 35.6% which is 2,368 cases out of 6,645 of juveniles in conflict with law were also reported in Delhi among the 19 cities during 2016.

Delhi was captured by reports for the maximum number of cases under economic offenses—5,942 cases (19.3%)—followed by Jaipur and Mumbai, during 2016. Whereas, for Cybercrimes, Mumbai reported for the highest number of cases—980 (23.5%) out of 4,172 cases in 19 major cities as compared to cybercrimes in Delhi, in 2016.
