Pm's Housing Scheme

A new reason is popping up, which can cause a dispute between the Union and Delhi Government. The Delhi Government has refused to execute the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Delhi’s Chief Minister and the Chairman of the Delhi Urban Shelter Board, Arvind Kejriwal had clearly said that Delhi Government will not implement the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.

Since then, it is believed that this issue is likely to grow further between the Union and Delhi Government. The Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme is an ambitious plan by the Union Government. After the implementation of this scheme the families, who use to live in slums will be provided a flat for the living.

In order to implement this plan better, Lt Governor Anil Baijal called a meeting of all those agencies, including Delhi Government, Railways, DDA, Public Works Department, and Municipal Corporations, who have slums on the ground and all those departments which are linked to this scheme. At the meeting, he had asked to focus on the Prime Minister’s housing plan more seriously.

This is a scheme of the Government of India. With the help of this scheme all the poor people, who are living in the slums will be given a cheap house. For this, the government has identified 305 cities in 9 states, in which there is a need for this scheme.
