‘No Liquor Shops near Schools soon’ says Delhi Government

Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal had recently visited Dhammagiri International Vipassana Academy in Igatpuri, Nashik District of Maharashtra for a meditation session for 10 days started on September 10. After getting back to Delhi, Kejriwal convened a meeting on Wednesday at 10 am having all the ministers of Delhi. He returned on Tuesday night after his meditation session was ended which was in Mumbai.

After the murder of innocent Pradyuman, the Delhi government is much more concerned about the safety issues for school students and has decided either to shift or to permanently close the liquor shops around the schools. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also said in his tweet that all liquor shops will be closed around the schools. Strict action will be taken if any of the liquor shops near schools object the decision made by the government. He further added that all the schools are already asked to report all the liquor shops in the neighborhood.
