Petrol Prices in delhi

East Delhi: Some people at Khajuri Chowk on Sunday protested for the continuous rise in price of petrol. They also burnt the effigy of Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, during the protest. The people who joined the protest said that BJP government had promised to reduce the prices but now fuel prices are increasing on daily basis.

Social worker, Advocate Gauri Shankar Sharma, alleged that BJP government is using a formula for fixing petrol prices on daily basis to provide benefit to private oil companies along with shareholders of oil companies. The petroleum product is an essential part of daily life and become a lifeline for development.

Many people participated in the protest to demand that Govt. should reduce the fuel prices.
