Criminal activities just occur so rapidly as if there is a sale in Delhi. In the highlighted case the victims are recognized as Premlata and Sonia, who were murdered wretchedly in their own house at Timarpur, North Delhi. There are many crime prone areas if we talk about places near Delhi-NCR. Timarpur can also be one of them as on Monday a sensational issue took place in which two women were found dead inside the house.
It was deduced by the team after interrogation that Premlata’s family had gone to Kanpur to attend a family function two days back. Premlata asked her nephew and his wife to help and look after her as she recently had a surgery. Police was informed at 11 am, by one of the tenant- who lived on the third floor of the same building.
As Premlata wasn’t answering calls, her father, Raj Kumar called the tenant around 10:30 am on Monday to ask about his daughter. The tenant opened the door herself when there was no response on calling her name and found two bodies lying immersed in blood. Police said that both of the bodies were stabbed with some instrument like ‘screw driver’ and said, “The culprit very fiercely killed both the women”.
Police suspect that Mohit , Premlata’s nephew and Sonia’s husband, could have an argument with his wife and killed her and when Premlata tried to intervene he killed her too. Jatin Narwal, deputy commissioner of police (N) said, “We are inspecting the matter and would scan the phones as we suspect there must be some clues regarding the murder in them. Mohit, who escaped, is the prime suspect and we have formed teams to arrest him.
