Fifty Shades Freed: Last Film in This Trilogy

Fifty Shades Freed

Adaptation of the “erotic romance” novel series by E.L. James, Fifty Shades Freed movie review is precisely as exciting as one might imagine.

The movie Fifty Shades Freed starts with the wedding. We watch the gorgeous lace of Ana’s wedding dress being buttoned; we marvel at the hefty, masculine majesty of Christian’s cuff links. Isn’t this just perfect and so dreamy? At first all is bliss, with a couple of kinks sexually and emotionally. Soon, they are called back from their honeymoon because a bomb exploded in one of the “Grey Enterprises” warehouses. It is revealed that the terrorist is none other than Hyde, Ana’s former boss who sexually assaulted her. The lengths Hyde will go to get revenge makes up just one of the many non-intimate plot-lines of this movie.

Ana goes to the gynecologist. Ana has repeatedly forgotten to take her contraceptive shots and is now seven weeks pregnant. It turns out that Christian is still not ready for the child. At work, Ana gets a call from Jack, who has kidnapped Christian’s sister, Mia. Trying to save Mia, Jack punches and kicks Ana! She gets hurt. Some information about Jack is received. It’s found out that Christian was adopted by a rich family, while Jack was left behind. That’s the reason, he was out to get Christian and Ana.

characters of Fifty Shades Freed

For me the characters of Fifty Shades Freed, Christian Grey is a character full of pure fantasy. The director has tried to show Christian’s playful side, and emotionally damaged side, when he is extremely restrained. Whereas, Ana’s character is all about her personality and charisma. Overall, the movie is a pure relationship melodrama with some erotic intimate scenes.

One aspect that I hate about this whole series of fifty shades is that women always work for men and not the reverse. But in some part, Ana is being shown as an independent woman who wants to continue working even though her husband is a billionaire. In my opinion, this was Fifty Shades Freed movie review.
